Wendy Williams plans to return to her popular daytime talk show in 2 weeks. The 54-year-old talk show Diva’s production company released a statement setting March 4 as the date for her return.
Yesterday, Radar Online reported the talk show maven and her estranged husband Kevin Hunter no longer communicated with the show’s producers.
Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury, which distributes the Wendy Williams Show, released a statement dismissing the rumors that Wendy went off the grid.
“Wendy Williams is an incredible talent with the most unique voice in daytime,” Debmar-Mercury said in a statement.
“We can’t wait to welcome her back to her iconic purple chair on the set of her show on Monday, March 4th.”
The production company also thanked the celebrity hosts who stepped up to fill in during Wendy’s absence.
“We so appreciate all of the guest hosts and panelists who filled in for Wendy during this time. These people are, and always will be, true family to the show. And we want to thank all of the loyal and supportive fans who have been with us for 10 years now. And of course, we thank our station and business partners, who stepped up in such a supportive way.”
