Nipsey Hussle’s sister, Samantha Smith, shared her grief in an emotional post on Instagram.com. Nipsey was shot and killed outside his clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31 at age 33.
On April 2, Samantha shared a touching tribute to her brother in a photo posted on Instagram.com. The photo shows Nipsey embracing her and a child.
“You are my heart,” she wrote. “You are my strength my wisdom my joy my balance. You are my Superhero. Invincible to me. I feel so safe with you. I feel so covered and protected.”
She continued:
“You are my baby. To the world you are the strongest man and to me you are the most vulnerable innocent child. Your heart is pure they don’t know you like we know you. Your love is expansive. Talk to me again. You’ve taught me so much. You hold me down through everything. I got Lauren. I got Emani. I got Kross. I got Sam, he is my responsibility now. He is my big little brother. I got mommy and Granny and Pop. You gave me so many tools. You gave me so much insight. We will talk every second of everyday and I am here to carry out your vision. Ermias God Will Rise. I love you forever and I will cry forever. You are my lifeline as long as I am here you are too.
According to The Blast, Nipsey’s killer, Eric Holder, 29, was transferred into LAPD custody after the L.A. County Sheriffs arrested him on Tuesday in Bellflower, CA., where he sought mental health treatment at a psychiatric clinic. The staff promptly called 911 when they realized he was L.A.’s most wanted fugitive.
His bail was raised to $7,040,000 after it was originally set at no bail.
Holder will not be allowed to mingle with other inmates, including members of his and Nipsey’s former gang, the notorious Rolling 60s Crips.
Holder reportedly has a history of mental illness. He was previously arrested on gun charges and domestic abuse.
Friends say Holder wanted revenge after Nipsey told him to stay away from his clothing store and his block because he was a police informant and a snitch. Holder returned with a gun and opened fire, killing Nipsey and wounding two others.
