American singer Lizzo performed live at The Forum in London, England on Monday. The Detroit native is making a name for herself as a plus-sized artist who doesn’t care what anyone thinks. The 31-year-old founded several hip hop groups including The Chalice and Grrrl Prty. In 2014, she was named as artist to watch by Time magazine. She was named to Forbes magazine’s 2018 “30 Under 30” list. Her new album, Cuz I Love You, features a naked cover photo. She told TMZ that her Instagram DM’s was “full of f*ck boys” messaging her since her album dropped in April.
Lizzo inspires other big beautiful women to be confident in their skin and back fat. “I’m doing this for myself,” Lizzo told Essence magazine. “I love creating shapes with my body, and I love normalizing the dimples in my butt or the lumps in my thighs or my back fat or my stretch marks. I love normalizing my black-ass elbows,” she added. “I think it’s beautiful.”
