Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West welcomed baby number four. Their new son was delivered by a surrogate on Friday in Los Angeles.
“He’s here and he’s perfect!” the 38-year-old reality star tweeted on Friday. “He’s also Chicago’s twin lol I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her.”
Kim and her rapper husband revealed they were expecting another baby boy back in January, and the reality TV star hosted a chill-out baby shower at the end of last month, featuring meditation stations and cannabis oil-infused lotions and potions.
The new arrival is a baby brother for Kim and Kanye’s kids North, 5, Saint, 3, and baby Chicago, who was also born via a “gestational carrier” at the beginning of 2018.
Kim clarified that her surrogate is actually a gestational carrier because she is carrying Kim’s egg that was fertilized by Kanye’s sperm via In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
The proud parents have yet to reveal the name of their newborn.
Kim began using a surrogate after her doctors warned her that another pregnancy would likely cause the death of her and the fetus. Kim was diagnosed with the potentially deadly preeclampsia when she carried daughter North.
