Lil Nas X was down to his last $5 in the bank when he dropped his novelty track “Old Town Road”. Now he’s worth 6 figures and he’s giving back.

Billboard booted the rapper off the country music chart after listening to the lyrics of “Old Town Road” and determining the track did not meet the qualifications for country music.

But the Atlanta rapper hit the jackpot when country music superstar Billy Ray Cyrus recorded a remix to “Old Town” and the track rocketed to the top of the charts.

Nas X thanked Billy Ray by gifting him a brand new Maserati GranTurismo Convertible worth $180,000.

Rumor has it that Nas X is also thanking Billy Ray’s youngest daughter, Noah Cyrus (pictured above), for agreeing to play his beard to silence those pesky ghey rumors.

The 20-year-old is flush with cash after signing a new deal with Wrangler jeans for a denim clothing line that is available today, according to Elle.

Wrangler was listening when Nas X rapped “Cowboy hat from Gucci, Wrangler on my booty.” The legendary jeans company didn’t hesitate to reach out to the country rapper.

The affordable collection includes denim button down shirts with “Old Town Road” written across the back and an assortment of graphic t-shirts with prices ranging from $39 to $129.

According to Wrangler, the collection is designed with “fresh remixes of classic Wrangler styles for the kind of modern cowboy that can’t be put in a box.”

“Old Town” still holds the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 after 7 weeks. That’s quite an achievement for a gimmick.
