The Anaheim Police Department has wrapped up their investigation into the Disneyland brawl case involving members of the same family.
The family members will now face criminal charges as the case has been sent to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office for possible prosecution.
APD tells The Blast, “The case has been presented to prosecutors for review.”
When asked what charges were warranted, the rep replied, “We send over a complete investigative package and the prosecutors make that determination.”
The brawl erupted in the Toontown section of Disneyland on Saturday evening in Anaheim, California.
Law enforcement officials say the combatants were all members of the same family. The family members were uncooperative with police, and they are banned from ever visiting the theme park again in their lifetimes.
There are multiple reports that the “brawl” was actually an elaborate staged hoax to drive Adsense revenue to a YouTube channel. The high definition video was viewed over 10 million times.
