Jeezy, aka Snowman, returns with a new track titled “1 Time”. In hip hop lexicon, “one time” is slang for the police.

The Internet is buzzing about the single’s cover art that shows Jeezy wearing country & western style boots, fitted jeans and a black leather vest. The only thing missing is a cowboy hat.

If you listen closely to the song’s sample, there’s a distinct country music theme. As usual, Jeezy raps about elements of the drug culture, using word play for cooking crack cocaine (chicken soup).

Maybe Jeezy hopes to capitalize off the hype surrounding country rap phenom Lil Nas X? His viral hit “Old Town Road” broke the record for longest-running No. 1 hip-hop single.

The track is off Jeezy’s upcoming Thug Motivation 104 album. The Snowman hinted on social media that his upcoming album would he his last.
