Who here remembers when part-time pop singer Ciara was temporarily disabled? The Atlanta transplant raised eyebrows when she attended a Thanksgiving charity event in a wheelchair back in the day.
This photo was taken by celebrity photog Prince Williams at a Thanksgiving party at the world famous Cascade skating rink in Atlanta in 2011. Ciara, then 25, required a wheelchair after undergoing successful surgery to repair a condition called hammer toes on both feet.
According to her publicist back then, Ciara was one of the organizers of the event and she didn’t want to disappoint the children by not showing up.
