Sen. Kamala Harris is scrambling to contain the damage after she mistakenly attended a political fundraiser held at the Beverly Hills mansion of Taylor Swift’s arch enemy, music manager Scooter Braun.

As you know, Swift and Braun fell out after he paid $300 million to buy a record label and its assets, including Swift’s entire music catalog.

In social media posts and interviews, Swift complained that she wasn’t given the opportunity to buy her own catalog. She called Braun “arrogant” and said he only purchased her catalog to spite her.

Swift’s rabid fanbase took to social media to attack Braun and everything he stands for. They also attacked anyone who defended him on social media.

Swift’s fans, the so-called “Swifties”, turned their hostilities toward Harris, who dared to defy them by attending a fundraiser for her campaign at Braun’s mansion.

Braun added fuel to the fire by posting photos of himself with Harris at the star-studded fundraiser.

“Such an incredible night supporting our brilliant friend… candidate for President of the United States of America @KamalaHarris,” he wrote in the photo caption.

The Swifties expressed their anger at the Democratic candidate for betraying them.

“I was SO excited for you as a democratic candidate, but if you so choose to go to an event held by @scooterbraun, a man whose arrogance mirrors our president’s, I can no longer hold onto my excitement and faith for you as a presidential candidate,” tweeted one disappointed Swift fan.

Another fan tweeted that Harris lost a lot of votes after the politician announced she planned to attend her own fundraiser at Braun’s house.

“@KamalaHarris please don’t do a fundraiser with @scooterbraun you will lose a lot of votes to @ewarren (Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren) I want to support you but cannot if you associate with a bully and misogynist.”
