Your auntie received yet another demand letter from Janet Jackson’s disgruntled ex-husband, Wissam Al Mana. I have a small folder of demand letters sent by him over the years.

The reasons vary from violation of his privacy rights to now violating the rights of his son, Eissa, for posting the toddler’s photos on my blog.

He insists the 2-year-old’s face should be pixelated even though there is no law in the United States that requires bloggers or publications to pixelate a baby’s face in photographs.

His lawyer insists this blog is under UK jurisdiction since Wissam can see my blog from London, where he lives.

“The publication of the Photographs is a gross invasion of Eissa’s privacy for which there is no justification,” his lawyer writes. “The only reason for publishing unpixelated photographs of our client’s son is the notoriety of Ms Jackson. But for that notoriety, you would not be publishing photographs of an infant in the circumstances depicted in the Photos.”

A quick Google search brings up thousands of unpixelated images of Eissa Al Mana on thousands of blogs in America.

This smells like a personal vendetta.
