Pregnant singer Cassie Ventura, 33, now goes by the name Cassie Fine, after tying the knot with ex-boyfriend Sean Combs’ personal trainer, Alex Fine, 26.
The wedding news was revealed by officiant Peter Berg, who took to Instagram to share a snap of Cassie and Alex during the intimate ceremony off the cliff sides of Malibu, California, and wrote: “By the power vested in me…. @alexfine44 n @cassie Long may you ride!”
In the image, Cassie is seen showing off her growing baby bump in an off-the-shoulder white dress, paired with a white lace veil as she holds hands with Alex, who looks suave in his suit and tie.
It’s unclear exactly when the wedding took place, but Cassie and Alex had revealed their intention to wed by picking up a marriage license back in August (19), WENN.com reports.
Cassie, who split from music mogul Diddy late last year after cheating on him with his personal trainer, is expecting a baby girl with Fine.
Combs, 50, reportedly took the break up hard. Particularly since he assumed he had Cassie under his complete control.
But sources say Cassie outgrew Combs, and she saw her chance to escape after his baby mama, Kim Porter, died of double pneumonia last year at age 47.
Friends say Combs was so distraught over Kim’s death, that he failed to notice Cassie was head over heels in love with his personal trainer.
“She found true love with Alex,” said the source.
