Taylor Swift turned heads in a red floral appliqué satin floor length gown from the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2020 collection. The dress features a strapless bodice with a single green stem motif and a dramatic train.
There was a collective gasp as the pop singer entered the room at the World premiere of the film adaptation of ‘Cats’ in New York City on Monday night.
Taylor, 30, stars as the singing cat Bombalurina in the film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit Broadway musical. According to MSN.com, Taylor’s original song for the Cats soundtrack is not up for an Oscar bid in 2020.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences declined to nominate Taylor’s song “Beautiful Ghosts”, which she co-wrote with Oscar-winner Andrew Lloyd Webber. Adding insult to injury, Beyonce’s lackluster song “Spirit” from the Lion King soundtrack was nominated for an Oscar, as was Pharrell Williams’ track “Never Too Late”.
Taylor also sings a song duet “Macavity,” featuring British actor Idris Elba, pictured here with his wife Sabrina Dhowre at the red carpet premiere.
Taylor and her latest boyfriend Joe Alwyn displayed a little PDA as they held hands while leaving the world premiere of Cats at Alice Tully Hall on a rainy night in New York City. Taylor’s fans stopped keeping track of her boyfriends after she dumped the 20th guy.
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, 38, stunned on the red carpet in this sexy black lingerie-inspired lace frock by Reem Acra. The design house Reem Acra is world renowned for its ready-to-wear bridal designs.
