R&B crooner Tank dropped new music to calm his fans in quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic.

The 44-year-old singer/songwriter locked himself in his home studio and delivered a six-song feel-good EP for R&B lovers.

Tank recorded While You Wait, accompanied only by a piano. He released the album via R&B Money to further his commitment to keeping the R&B genre alive and thriving. The EP is written, produced, and performed by Tank.

Tank states, “When I decided to do this EP, I wanted to give my fans something different and special, given the times we’re in. Just my piano and me. I wanted to bring this back to the basics of R&B.”

He goes on to say: “‘Perfect’ honors all things that make a grown man happy with his woman. Even with their perceived flaws…You’re perfect for me.”

Tank is best known for his chart-topping hits like “Please Don’t Go”, “Next Breath”, “When We”, and “Dirty”.
