“Little Women” star Ashley Ross, also known as “Ms. Minnie” succumbed to internal injuries from a car crash late Sunday night, her publicist confirmed to theGrio early Tuesday.
She was 34.
“It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka ‘Ms Minnie’ of Little Women Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34,” read the statement posted to Minnie’s official Instagram page.
In an email to theGrio, Ross’s publicist Liz Dixson said the reality TV star was seriously injured in a hit and run accident that happened on Sunday in Atlanta.
But published reports state Ross died in a car crash involving a second vehicle.
Ross was pronounced dead at approximately 10:30 p.m. Monday at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Ross was a cast member on Lifetime TV’s reality show Little Women: Atlanta, which followed a crew of female dwarfs who lived and worked in the Atlanta area.
Ross was best known for her scripted scenes with rapper Pastor Troy. In one infamous scene, she shared with him that she miscarried their unborn baby.
She later admitted she was never pregnant, and Troy admitted he played along for the reality TV checks.
