Arrest warrants have been issued in Florida for two NFL defensive backs accused of robbing party guests of over $50,000 in cash and jewelry.
A spokesman for the Miramar Police Department told ESPN they have issued arrest warrants for NY Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar.
Baker is charged with four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm while Dunbar has been charged with four counts of armed robbery.
Neither man is in custody. The Miramar police are in discussions with one of the player’s reps to turn himself in.
Police say Baker, Dunbar and another man held up guests at a house party in Broward County, Florida, after they lost $70,000 gambling at a party in Miami several days earlier.
The three suspects robbed guests at gunpoint taking $12,000 in cash, an $18,000 Rolex watch and a $25,000 Hublot watch.
The third man, wearing a red mask, was allegedly told by Baker to shoot a party guest. But the unidentified robber refused to shoot the man.
The three suspects left in three different vehicles — a Mercedes Benz, a Lamborghini and a BMW.
The NFL says it is aware of the charges but they had no further comment.
Baker was a first round draft pick by the Giants in 2019. Dunbar spent the first 5 seasons of his career with the Washington Redskins before the Seahawks acquired him for a 2020 fifth-round draft pick in March.
