Migos rapper Quavo Huncho complimented his longtime girlfriend Saweetie in a recent interview.
Quavo, real name Quavious Marshall, seemed to uplift his rapper girlfriend while dragging bandmate Offset‘s wife, Cardi B.
Quavo hinted that Cardi’s stripper past doesn’t make her as wholesome as his girl. He noted that Saweetie, real name Diamonte Harper, is a good, clean, wholesome college grad who never worked the pole.
The proud rap artist told Page Six: “I think [Saweetie]’s bringing something very special to the game. She speaks for the pretty college girls that are taking the regular route. You don’t have to be a stripper, you don’t have to be a bartender, you don’t have to take the Instagram model route.”
He added: “I feel like she’s speaking for those nice, clean teenage girls who listen to their parents and go to school.”
Saweetie is best known for her debut single, “Icy Girl” and her raunchy 2x platinum 2019 single “My Type.”
The 26-year-old college graduate is mixed with Filipino and Black.
