Kim Kardashian West is reportedly meeting with divorce lawyers after her rap producer husband, Kanye West threatened to divorce her in a Twitter rant on Tuesday night.
“Kim has been meeting with lawyers to explore and talk about divorce,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.
In Twitter rants this week, Kanye, 43, took aim at Kardashian klan matriarch Kris Jenner, calling her “Kris Jong-Un” and claiming Kris and Kim tried to have him involuntarily committed to a mental institution.
“Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up,” he tweeted on Monday. “They tried to fly in with 2 doctors to 51/50 me.”
In another tweet, he wrote: “Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughters life yesterday.”
In the Jordan Peele-directed movie, the Black male character is forced to fight for his life after his white girlfriend and her family attempts to cut his brain out for a macabre experiment.
“Everybody knows the movie get out is about me” and “If I get locked up like Mandela Ya’ll will know why,” Kanye tweeted on Monday.
In a statement on her Instagram account, Kim discussed how Kanye’s bipolar disorder has affected her family.
“As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.”
Kim clarified that “those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words some times do not align with his intentions.”
Kim, 39, is reportedly “furious” over comments Kanye made during a South Carolina campaign rally, saying he asked her to abort their daughter North West. Kim reportedly expressed concern about him having another bipolar episode.
Kanye said he considered divorcing Kim after she met up with rapper Meek Mill to discuss “prison reform” in a hotel room. He added that Meek was a “gentleman” during the meeting, but he said Kim was “out of line” to meet with another man in a hotel room.
“Meek is my man and was respectful That’s my dog. Kim was out of line. I’m worth 5 billion dollars and more than that through Christ. But ya’ll ain’t listen to MJ and now ya’ll believe them???” [sic]
Kanye has been holed up at his $14 million Wyoming ranch where he goes to escape the stress of being part of the Kardashian klan that sucks Black men dry.
He targeted Kris Jenner again, telling her he is at his Cody, WY ranch if she needs to find him, “Unless you’re planning another one of your children’s’ Playboy shoots.”
