Kobe Bryant‘s widow Vanessa explained her side of the story after her mother, Sofia Laine, went to the news media and claimed Vanessa threw her out of her home.
In an interview on Univision that aired Monday, Sofia tearfully said she was destitute and living in empty apartment after she was kicked to the curb.
But Vanessa clapped back, saying she pays her mother’s rent, and the reason the apartment looked empty is because Sofia moved the furniture out before her interview with David Valadez.
But Vanessa was not done yet. She also also went in on Kobe’s mother, Pamela Bryant, in a series of posts on her Instagram Story.
Vanessa posted photos of Kobe’s high school uniforms and throwback basketball shoes, saying Pamela sold the precious keepsakes at auction, and how sad it was that Kobe had to buy his stuff back.
“The fact that this was auctioned off and my husband had to buy this and more back is so sad. 2013. Glad we have it back. #Keepsakes,” she captioned one of the images. She tagged another image #Hoarderwife.
Back in 2013 Kobe filed a lawsuit against Pamela, after she auctioned off his high school memorabilia to buy herself a fancy new mansion.
