Senator Kamala Harris canceled her travel plans after two campaign staffers tested positive for Covid-19.

The vice presidential candidate was not in close contact with either of the two infected staffers.

Her campaign made the decision to cancel her travel plans “out of an abundance of caution and in line with [the] campaign’s commitment to the highest levels of precaution.”

The news comes a day after presidential candidate Joe Biden called a press lid to avoid questions about a bombshell email leak that compromised his son, Hunter Biden.

Some of the emails conflict with denials Joe Biden made saying he never met with officials at a Ukraine gas company that hired Hunter Biden and paid him $50,000 a month.

In one email dated 2015, a Burisma official thanked Hunter for arranging a meeting with his father, Joe, then-vice president for Barack Obama.

But Biden’s camp claimed there was no such meeting on Biden’s “official” schedule for that time period.

After the email leaked on Wednesday, Biden’s camp released a statement admitting for the first time that Biden “probably” met with the official.

Some 40,000 emails and thousands of text messages were found on the hard drive of a laptop computer at a repair shop in Delaware in 2019.

When the laptop’s owner missed the 90-day deadline to pick up the laptop, it became the property of the repair shop. The shop owner turned the hard drive over to the FBI, but he never heard back from them.

Fearing a coverup at the federal level, the shop owner contacted President Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani, who leaked the emails and explicit photos to the New York Post.

Former vice president Biden is still expected to participate in Thursday’s town hall event on ABC News.

His campaign is furious that President Trump’s town hall event will air at the same time, 8 p.m. ET Thursday on NBC.

Trump is expected to discuss the damaging emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop.
