Friend of the blog, recording artist Evrod Cassimy, performed “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” ahead of the start of the 2020 America’s Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit.
Evrod is Morning Anchor for WDIV (Channel 4) in Detroit. His holiday EP, A Cassimy Kinda Christmas was released on Nov. 1 on Spotify and Apple Music. The EP can also be downloaded at evrodcassimy.com.
Originally from Chicago, Evrod is an award-winning journalist and three-time Emmy Award nominee. In 2010 he received the Virginia Associated Press Award for “Best Breaking News Coverage.”
