Fetty Wap affiliate Tripple Beanz was shot and killed by 2 masked gunmen as he approached the driver side door of his black Range Rover at 12:54 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27.

Surveillance video outside the DFG Recording Studio shows the Newark, New Jersey rapper glance nervously over his shoulder as he approached his vehicle parked on the 300 block of Avon Avenue.

Moments later, two masked men jumped out of a stolen Jeep across the street and opened fire at close range. Beanz, real name Corey Thompson, 29, rolled around on the ground as the gunmen continued firing at him. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:08 p.m.

The shooters jumped back into the Jeep driven by a getaway driver.

Old skool rapper Willie D believes Beanz’s murder was an inside job because the shooters knew exactly when he was leaving the studio.

His shooting led to a series of shootings in the New Jersey area over the weekend.

East coast rappers are moving with heavy security since record labels began signing serial killers affiliated with street gangs as rap artists.

According to Vladtv.com, DFG Recording Studio in New Jersey issued a statement after Thompson’s death calling the 29-year-old a “superstar in the making,” and someone who “genuinely was tryna change his life around.”
