Billboard’s top female rap artist nominee Saweetie stopped by “Nightly Pop” to promote her new music video for “Fast Motion,” dating and more.
Saweetie said she’s putting her love life on the shelf to focus on her music and herself.
“I just feel like relationships take up a lot of time, so right now, I’m just getting back to self. Perfecting my craft is my number one priority.”
She added, “If cupid find me and shoot me, then shoot me baby. Until then, I’m working.”
Saweetie has figured out what many successful women already know: relationships take too much time – unless you plan right.
Successful women put off relationships and raising a family until they have accumulated enough wealth to support a family — usually by age 30.
The 27-year-old rapper and model dumped her last boyfriend, Migos member Quavo Marshall, after she caught him cheating on her.
Weeks later, an embarrassing video leaked of an elevator altercation between Saweetie and Quavo last year.
