Safaree and Erica Mena Samuels announced they are pregnant with their second child after pretending to split up earlier this year. The reality TV stars are parents to infant daughter Safire.
The proud dad confirmed the pregnancy on Instagram, writing, “Safire got a sibling New baby who dis?? [praying hands emojis] #2under2 time to get neutered.”
Erica shared a series of pregnancy photos on her own Instagram account on Monday, May 3. She captioned one shot, “More Life [heart emoji]. Who wants that perfect love story anyway.”
Safaree, 39, and Erica, 33, met on the set of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York. The struggling rapper and the reality TV star tied the knot on October 7, 2019. They welcomed their daughter 4 months later.
He announced their breakup in a now-deleted tweet in February.
“I mean this from the bottom of my heart getting married was 1 of my BIGGEST mistakes and it will never happen again. I’m walking away before I End up in jail over some dumb shit. Nobody is worth my freedom!!!”
Erica, a former bisexual, clapped back:
“Since you always run to social media like a little girl I might as well join in. I absolutely agree with you on this. You are the most selfish, vain and inconsiderate person. And not just with me but your only daughter!”
Normally, a marriage wouldn’t survive after a wife publicly outs her husband as a man with feminine tendencies.
Thankfully, they realize how important it is for their infant daughter to be raised by two parents of the opposite sex.
