Bobby Brown and Keith Sweat are set to compete in the next Verzuz lip-sync battle competition on Thursday, as part of the essence Festival of Culture.
Sweat, 59, and Brown, 52, will take turns lip-syncing to their biggest hits, and fans will decide who came out on top.
Music producers Swizz Beats and Timbaland created the Verzuz battle competition to keep fans occupied during the pandemic lockdowns last year.
Bobby Brown was an original member of New Edition from 1981 until he went solo in 1985. His solo hits include "Don't Be Cruel", "My Prerogative", and "Every Little Step."
Brown is best known for his marriage to the late pop icon Whitney Houston.
Keith Sweat is known for his hits including "I Want Her", "Make It Last Forever", "I'll Give All My Love to You", "Make You Sweat", "Get Up on It", "Twisted" and "Nobody".
The Verzuz will take place on Thursday, July 1, at 5 p.m. PT, 8 p.m. ET @ FITE on Essence.com.
