A 6-year-old Chicago boy wanted rapper King Von to host his birthday bash. But he’s dead, so the boy’s mom did the next best thing.
She mounted a life-size picture of the rapper on a cardboard stand up. Then she dressed the birthday boy just like his idol in a white tee and black shorts with a faux diamond pendant.
The boy’s birthday cake featured a similar photo of the late rapper wearing a white Furberry t-shirt and black pants.
King Von was gunned down during a fistfight outside an Atlanta lounge last year.
The little boy, named Daundrea, is seen flashing a gang sign in a photo next to Von’s cardboard standup — just like his idol.
The Internet comments were brutal.
One Reddit.com user wrote: “Rest In Peace Von but damn hope that kid don’t go towards that life.”
Another user wrote: “this is honestly some of the dumbest sh-t I’ve seen in a long time he shouldn’t even know who von is.”
And a third wrote, “This is lack of having a dad.”
