Oprah‘s bestie Gayle King was spotted a week after she announced her plans to ban unvaccinated family members from her Thanksgiving gathering.
King was spotted outside the CBS studios in New York City on Monday. She wore a purple and white print frock with silver clogs.
King, who is fully vaccinated, did not wear a mask as her bodyguard and an assistant escorted her to an Uber.
Network insiders whisper that King has not been herself since the Covid lockdowns to slow the spread of the coronavirus last year.
Some of her colleagues say King needs a vacation after she told Dr. Anthony Fauci of her plans to alienate family members on CBS This Morning.
Looking nervous and exhausted, the 66-year-old news anchor said people who refuse to take coronavirus mRNA injections are a “problem” and she’s taking drastic action with her own unvaccinated family members.
“I don’t know how many more times you can say to people, ‘Listen, it will save your life.’ I have this problem with some members of my own family, which I’m now going to ban for Thanksgiving vacation. That’s how strongly I’m taking what you’re saying.”
King previously said receiving the vaccine made her feel free because she’d spent the last year “so afraid” to leave the house.
