Remember the male-to-female trans who exposed his genitals to little girls in a Los Angeles spa in June? There’s an update in the case.
A Black woman recorded her encounter with the front desk staff at Wi Spa, who responded that California “law” allows male-to-female trans to enter female-only spaces.
“I just want to be clear with you. It’s okay for a man to go into the women’s section, show his penis around the other women — young little girls, under age, your spa, Wi Spa, condones that. Is that what you’re saying?”
The front desk staff confirmed that males are allowed into female-only spaces because of “sexual orientation.”
“What sexual orientation? I see a dick. It tells me he’s a man,” the irate woman responded.
The video went viral, sparking furious public backlash and violent protests outside the Wi Spa, which temporarily closed its doors on Wilshire Blvd.
On Monday, Aug. 30, police arrested a registered sex offender, Darren Agee Merager, and charged him with indecent exposure after he exposed his erect penis in front of women at the same spa.
The arrest didn’t make headlines right away because the charges were “discreetly filed”, following an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to the NY Post:
“Sources with knowledge of the case but not authorized to speak publicly say four women and a minor girl came forward to allege that Darren Agee Merager was partially erect in the women’s section of Wi Spa. Besides being a suspect in this case, Merager is facing multiple felony charges of indecent exposure over a separate incident in Los Angeles.”
In a statement to the NY Post, Merager claims the allegations are false and that he is a victim of transphobic harassment.
