Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh has tested positive for Covid-19. Justice Kavanaugh learned of his positive diagnosis on Thursday evening, according to The Economist.

Justice Kavaugh has been fully vaccinated since January 2021 and is currently asymptomatic, according to The Economist.
Experts say mRNA vaccines do not prevent vaccinated people from spreading the virus to others. Tests of all nine justices on Monday came back negative for each, the AJC.com reports.
Per protocol, Kavanaugh will not attend any SCOTUS proceedings on Friday, including a ceremonial investiture for Justice Amy Coney Barrett.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, who advises the White House on all things Covid-related, has changed the definition of “fully vaccinated”.
Fauci now claims those who received two doses of Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccines are not fully vaccinated unless they receive a third booster shot.
It isn’t clear if Kavanaugh received a booster shot.
The CDC in Atlanta, which previously stated the vaccine prevents spread of the virus, now claims the vaccines only prevent serious illness and death.
Many say being unvacccinated also prevents serious illness and death.
