Danielle Leigh Curiel, best known by her stage name DaniLeigh, has been disowned by her own mother, who quit as her business manager.
The 26-year-old aspiring singer is best known for dating rapper DaBaby who fathered a daughter with her. DaniLeigh made headlines recently when she quarreled with the rapper who threw her out of his condo.
The video of the argument went viral and gave fans a glimpse into DaniLeigh’s troubled mind.
She was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault on DaBaby, and released on bond.
In another video, her brother threatened to fight DaBaby.
It was a PR disaster and caused massive headaches for her management team led by her mother, Vicky Curiel, who abruptly quit.
DaniLeigh announced the job opening on her Instagram, writing: “Looking for an amazing manager, hit my email.”
Vicky took to social media, and said:
“I’ve taken this time to love myself, focus on myself, and reflecting on the fact that I’ve been living for others and not myself. Today, tomorrow, and for the rest of my life, I come first. You have to love yourself first before you can love anyone else. I didn’t know that. I thank God for this opportunity & I look forward to my new life.”
In response, DaniLeigh, a Miami native, listed her mother’s mansion in the Dominican Republic for sale.
According to DaBaby, Vicky has never met her infant granddaughter.
