NeNe Leakes sold her Duluth, Ga. mansion at a steep discount — but at least it’s off her hands.
According to TMZ, NeNe unloaded her marital home for nearly half the asking price at $2.6 million.
NeNe listed the 10,000 square foot 5 bedroom, 7 bath home for $4 million on Sept. 21, three weeks after her husband, Gregg Leakes, died of colon cancer at age 66.
After getting no offers, NeNe, 54, slashed the price $305,000 to $3.495 million after previously cutting the price $200,000. The home finally sold for $2.6 million on January 25.
NeNe, 54, and Gregg originally purchased their marital home while it was under construction in 2015 for $2 million.
In addition to the $13,000+ monthly mortgage, the buyer will pay $2,750 annual homeowner’s association fee and $29,884 annual property taxes.
In November, NeNe dropped $1.8 million on a new tri-level townhouse in Buckhead. The never lived-in, 4-bedroom, 5-bath condo opens to a large courtyard where NeNe can entertain her guests as they enjoy the lush English garden nestled just outside the gate. The private entrance leads to a grand entryway.
