Grammy Award-winning rapper and actress Eve Jihan Cooper, 43, welcomed her first child — a bouncing baby boy named Wilde Wolf Fife Alexander Somers Cooper.
According to DailyMail.com, the name is of German origin and means a hunter, trapper of wild game.
The rapper, who is best known for her hit single “Let Me Blow Ya Mind,” shared a photo of her sleeping newborn on Instagram. She captioned the image:
“Our Beautiful boy was born Feb 1st 2022 [two blue heart emojis]… Wilde Wolf Fife Alexander Somers Cooper [two blue heart emojis] Words can’t describe this feeling [three sparkle emojis].”
The baby’s father is Eve’s husband, Maximillion Cooper, a 49-year-old multi-millionaire race car enthusiast and Gumball 3000 founder.
Eve announced her surprise pregnancy in November. “Can you believe it we finally get to tell everyone!!!!!” she captioned the post. “You all know how long we’ve been waiting for this blessing!!! We get to meet our lil human February 2022.”
Eve is stepmom to her husband’s four children, ages 13 to 19.
In a 2020 interview, Eve told PEOPLE that she was initially anxious about dating a man with children.
“In the beginning when I first met my husband — then-boyfriend — I was like, ‘This is never gonna last because you got four kids! How’s this gonna work?'”
She was eventually won over by her husband’s well-behaved children and their charming personalities.
She added, “Wow, kids are amazing.”
