Pop singer Aaron Carter has died of suspicion of suicide after drowning in a bathtub. He was 34.

Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, was found dead in a bathtub on Saturday at his house in Lancaster, CA.

Police responded to a 911 call that a man had drowned in a bathtub, according to TMZ.

His death comes four days after he was pulled over by police on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Sources with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department tell TMZ that deputies pulled the singer’s RV over on Tuesday around 10:45 a.m. Carter was allegedly driving erratically and weaving in traffic according to a motorist who called 911.

Carter’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Melanie Martin was driving behind him at the time in a white Range Rover. They are pictured together on May 27.

Officers conducted field sobriety tests on Carter and determined he wasn’t under the influence.

Carter posted on Instagram about the incident: “When you do the right thing, you don’t get in trouble. Do the right thing, that’s what you do.”
