Tameka “Tiny” Harris snubbed Xscape lead singer LaTocha Scott during the 2022 BET Soul Train Awards pre-taping on November 13. The show aired on Sunday, November 27 on BET.
The animosity between the ladies was on full display as the women turned their backs on LaTocha.
The drama started when LaTocha mistakenly showed up on The Soul Train Awards blue carpet in a different dress than her groupmates on Nov. 13. LaTocha said it was all a mistake, but backup singer Tiny believed she did it on purpose.
You could cut the tension with a knife as their mentor Jermaine Dupri presented the group with the Lady of Soul Award. Groupmates Tamika Scott (LaTocha’s sister), and Kandi Burruss tried to remain neutral.
Tiny literally turned her back on LaTocha and gestured toward Kandi and Tameka, saying, “Thank you to my girls. I love ya’ll.” Tiny then glanced over at LaTocha who was near tears.

Jermaine was not amused by Tiny’s shade toward LaTocha. He made sure to hand the other ladies their awards first before giving Tiny her award last.
It was an embarrassing display for such a legendary group.
