Georgians reacted to actress Kerry Washington supporting Stacey Abrams for governor in a Twitter video.
On Wednesday, Washington posted a video on Twitter that shows her and Abrams dancing to “Pretty Boy Swag” by rapper Soulja Boy.
Washington, who does not live in Georgia, urged Georgians to vote for Abrams in the upcoming midterm elections on Nov. 8.
Washington captioned the video: “The Governor Georgia deserves @staceyabrams.”

But not everyone agreed with the actress.
One Georgia resident responded: “Do you live in Georgia? If not, please don’t tell us what we need.”

Another person tweeted, “What did we do to you to cause you to wish such evil upon us?”
Recent polls show incumbent governor Brian Kemp leading Abrams by double digits less than a week before the midterms.
Kemp beat Abrams by 50,000 votes in the 2018 gubernatorial race.
