Wendy Williams reportedly cut off her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., after leaving rehab, according to Radar Online.
The former TV host hasn’t spoken to her son in the weeks since leaving a California rehab last month.
Sources tell Radar that Kevin Jr., 22, has yet to hear from his mom and he is reportedly “heartbroken” over the silent treatment.
An insider told The Sun newspaper, “Wendy has not reached out to her son since she left the rehab. While she was in treatment, they were talking but the minute she got out the communication stopped.”
The source added:
“Kevin has been through hell this year with everything going on with his mom. It breaks his heart that things seemed to be going well while she was in rehab, but as soon as she got her freedom, she hasn’t reached out to him since.”
“Kevin has been trying to stay focused and finish up his last year of school, but it’s been challenging having to deal with everything going on with his mother.”
Sources say Kevin Jr. looted his mother’s bank accounts before Wells Fargo froze her accounts.
The bank called Wendy an “incapacitated person” who is the possible “victim of financial exploitation” in an ongoing lawsuit.
A New York judge appointed a financial guardian to oversee Wendy’s finances in May, The U.S. Sun reported.
LaShawn Thomas, an attorney Wendy hired to represent her interests, accused Wells Fargo of conspiring to keep her off the case because she “couldn’t be bought.”
Thomas is no longer representing Wendy.
