Gabrielle Union slammed outspoken rapper Boosie Badazz for making homophobic comments about her stepchild, Zaya Wade, in 2021.

“He’s so preoccupied,” she said of Boosie in a throwback interview with journalist Jemele Hill that went viral over the weekend.

“It’s almost like thou dost protest too much Lil Booze. You’ve got a lot of d–k on your mind,” Gabrielle said.

She added: “Sir, is there something you wanna go ahead and tell us?”

Boosie, 40, responded to Gabrielle on Twitter:

“The whole world know I love women n the world know your husband love d–k,” he tweeted on Sunday, referring to Dwyane Wade.

“Woman u better leave me alone! How dare you challenge a ghetto heros manhood [sic],” he wrote in a follow-up tweet. “U wrong SMH I don’t have time for this, Im tryin to have peace n my life n stay alive.”

One Twitter user criticized Gabrielle for implying Boosie is a closeted homosexual because he disagrees with the LGBT+ lifestyle.

“It’s almost like they think being gay is an insult,” the Twitter user wrote.
