Robert Kraft rewarded a New England Patriots fan who stayed calm when a Las Vegas Raiders fan got in his face following a Patriots loss on Sunday, Dec. 18.
Viral video shows the female Raiders fan verbally abusing Jerry Edmonds after her team beat the Patriots 30-24 in Vegas on Sunday.
The video shows the woman waving her fists in Edmond’s face while her husband pulled her away from Edmonds who showed great restraint.
Edmonds wore a Derek Carr jersey, while the woman who harassed him was dressed in Raiders gear.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft, 81, was so impressed with Edmond’s composure that he offered him a ticket to the Patriots home game against the Bengals on Dec. 24. Edmonds will also receive a personalized team jersey and pregame passes to join the players on the field at Gillette Stadium.
Edmonds later said that he was attending his first-ever NFL game.
“I didn’t want to ruin my experience by retaliating towards that women so I kept my cool,” Edmond said.
Edmonds admitted he harassed Raiders fans throughout the game and then fell silent when his team lost.
He said he didn’t notice the fan in his face at first.

Someone find me this man. I owe him a beer. Entire game this lady was chirping at him for CHEERING for the Patriots in “her” stadium. Absolute shit ending for NE & she’s up in his face. He stayed calm after seeing the worst loss ever. I know I wouldn’t. He deserves some love. pic.twitter.com/gaKuSv3YqO
