TJ Holmes has filed for divorce from long-suffering estranged wife Marilee Fiebig. Holmes was suspended from his anchor gig at ABC’s Good Morning America after his relationship with co-anchor Amy Robach caused a disruption in the workplace.

Holmes and Fiebig, both 45, were married for 12 years. He allegedly cheated on his wife for half of those years. The couple share a daughter, Sabine, 9.

According to In Touch, Holmes filed divorce documents with the New York County Supreme Court on Wednesday, December 28.

Holmes’ marriage to the immigration attorney was his second and the first for Marilee, who graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.

Holmes was previously married to Amy Ferson. They divorced in 2007 amid cheating allegations. They share a daughter, Brianna, and son, Jaiden.

Robach and Holmes made headlines last month after DailyMail.com published scandalous photos of the pair holding hands during a weekend getaway in upstate New York. One photo showed Holmes grabbing Robach’s buttocks.

In the week after the growing scandal, ABC News president Kim Godwin (pictured) claimed the couple didn’t violate company policy, since they were two consenting adults.

But Disney, ABC’s parent company, stepped in and suspended the couple amid an investigation into allegations that Holmes bedded multiple female co-workers.

It isn’t clear if Holmes or Robach will ever return to GMA. That’s just fine for viewers who expect Disney to exemplify the “good” in Good Morning America.
