Two Black attorneys vow to fight California’s plan to make instant millionaires out of longtime Black residents. California plans to hand $5 million to each longtime Black resident this year.

Attorneys Leo Terrell and Larry Elder slammed California’s reparations plan as “racist”. They asked who is going to foot the $50 billion for the reparations plan.

Terrell (C) and former California gubernatorial candidate Elder (R) said they will fight the “racist” proposal in an interview on Fox NewsHannity on Monday night.

They argued that California is not even a slave state.

Despite the opposition to the proposal, the reparations committee says it will submit the plan to Mayor London Breed, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and the San Francisco Human Rights Commission in June.

Anyone who has identified as Black on public records for at least 10 years and is at least 18 years old qualifies for the $5 million payout, according to DailyMail.com.

Eligible Black residents must also have been born in California or migrated to it between 1940 and 1996 and then lived there for 13 years.

They will also receive a lump sum payment to “compensate the affected population for the decades of harms that they have experienced.”

The proposal also says qualifying low-income households should have their income supplemented to match the city’s median income – $97,000 annually beginning in 2022 – for the next 250 years.

Black people who moved to California last year will not be eligible for the payouts.

Black residents who qualify for the program will also have their debts forgiven, including their housing and student loans.
