Ne-Yo shared photos of his love child that led to the breakup of his marriage to estranged wife Crystal Smith.
In August 2022, Crystal filed for divorce from the singer, citing infidelity throughout their 6-year marriage. The divorce papers were filed just months after the couple remarried in a Las Vegas ceremony.
Ne-Yo and Crystal broke up and reunited numerous times – always due to allegations of infidelity.
They share three children together. Ne-Yo and Monyetta Shaw share two children.
Crystal filed for divorce after she learned that Ne-Yo cheated on her again – and welcomed a love child with his mistress.
Ne-Yo revealed photos of the mixed race boy on Instagram. He wrote: “I am blessed. Thank you GOD for my beautiful children and the people that help me raise them. I love you all.”
Some Black Twitter users took offense to Ne-Yo referring to his baby mothers as “people” who helped him raise his children.
In 2005, Ne-Yo’s then-girlfriend Jesseca White gave birth to a boy, naming him Chimere after Ne-Yo’s middle name. Ne-Yo doted on the boy and spoiled him. He was heartbroken when he later discovered the child wasn’t his.
