Ne-Yo got off easy in his divorce from ex-wife Crystal Renay Smith. The singer/songwriter and the stay-at-home mom finalized their divorce, court records obtained by Page Six confirm.

Georgia is the best state for divorced men because judges here side with ex-husbands. The average spousal and child support payment in Georgia is $2,200 a month.

So Ne-Yo got off easy with only having to pay his baby mama a lump sum of $1.6 million and another $20,000 for moving expenses for her and the children to vacate his home. That’s right, Ne-Yo gets to keep their marital home.

Additionally, according to TMZ, Ne-Yo agreed to pay Crystal $150,000 buy a new car, since he is keeping their 2022 Bentley Bentayga.

So, not only does Ne-Yo pay Crystal a lump sum to go away, but he keeps his mansion and his Bentley.

Crystal, 36, filed for divorce in August 2022 after she confirmed Ne-Yo was cheating on her and fathered a baby out of wedlock.

Crystal dragged Ne-Yo on social media before heading to the courthouse.

“To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is a understatement,” she said. “To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist. I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t.”
