The U.S. government righted a wrong by releasing “QAnon Shaman” from prison after mounting pressure from Fox News host Tucker Carlson and Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

Jacob Chansley, a 35-year-old U.S. Navy veteran, served nearly 2 years of a four-year prison sentence before he was released to a halfway house this month.

According to reports, Chansley, from Phoenix, Arizona, was moved to a halfway house in Arizona recently.

Federal prosecutors claimed Chansley was among the first 30 “rioters” who “stormed” the Capitol Building and were “confronted” by Capitol police outside the Senate chamber.

However, Tucker Carlson aired newly released surveillance footage that shows the peaceful protester being escorted to the Senate chamber by 2 Capitol police officers.

Elon Musk also shared footage in a tweet that showed Chansley using a bullhorn to tell protesters, “Trump has asked everybody to go home.”

Musk tweeted that Chansley was “falsely portrayed in the media as a violent criminal who tried to overthrow the state and who urged others to commit violence.”

The new Jan. 6 footage shows Chansley peacefully roaming the Capitol Building hallways with 2 police officers who searched for an open door to the Senate chamber to let him in.

He even shook the hand of an officer who led him to the chamber door.

“Thank you, Heavenly Father, for taking the inspiration needed to these police officers to allow us into this building,” Chansley said into his bullhorn as he took a seat on the dais recently occupied by former Vice President Mike Pence.

After pleading guilty to one count of obstructing an official proceeding in November 2021, Chansley was sentenced to 41 months in prison. His release date was originally set for April 2025.
