Kim, 45, is in the midst of a nasty divorce from former NFL player Kroy Biermann. She filed for divorce from Kroy after 11 years of marriage.
In her divorce petition, Kim said the marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
Kroy, 37, reportedly wants Kim to undergo a psychological exam because of her “compulsions” which include online gambling.
Kroy claims Kim’s gambling addiction has “financially devastated” the family. He claims her gambling problem makes her an unfit mother for their four minor children: Kroy, 11, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kaia and Kane.
Kim is also mom to grown daughters Brielle, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 21, from previous relationships. Kroy adopted the girls when they were young.
According to reports, Kim worked hard to keep their family in their dream home while owing the IRS over $1 million in unpaid taxes.
Kim and Kroy allegedly did not file taxes in 2013, 2017 and 2018.
The reality stars also reportedly owe the state of Georgia $15,000 in unpaid taxes from 2018. Their Alpharetta, Georgia mansion was put up for auction in February after they defaulted on a $1.65 million loan in 2016.
The house was set to be sold on the courthouse steps in March. But they were able to save their mansion with a home equity loan.
They initially paid $880,000 for the home in the affluent Manor Golf and Country Club in 2012. The house is now worth between $2.5 and $2.6 million.
The mansion was featured on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Kim’s own reality show titled, Don’t Be Tardy, which was canceled after 8 seasons.
