Update: Las Vegas police say rapper Cardi B is facing an assault and battery charge after she threw her microphone at a fan during a Las Vegas concert.

Cardi B threw her microphone at a concertgoer who tossed a cool, refreshing beverage in her direction at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 29.

Fans say Cardi made them wait for nearly 2 hours in boiling 112-degree temps. When she finally got on stage, Cardi allegedly told fans to throw water on her to cool her down.

That’s exactly what the fan did — before Cardi launched her mic at her.

After the concert, the woman walked into the Las Vegas Police Department and filed an assault charge against the “Bodak Yellow” rapper.

A police report is the first step before filing a lawsuit.

This isn’t the first assault charge against the Bronx rapper. In 2018, Cardi was charged with assaulting two female bartenders at a Queens strip club.

On September 15, 2022, she pleaded guilty and admitted paying her entourage $5,000 to assault the women.

She was sentenced to serve 15 days of community service.

Cardi B’s reps did not return a blogger’s request for comment.

Cardi B threw her microphone at a concertgoer who tossed beer at her during Cardi’s second concert of the weekend.

Cell phone video shows the “WAP” rapper performing at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 29.

Fans say Cardi made them wait in 112-degree heat for 1 1/2 hours before she finally showed up onstage.

The rapper reportedly asked fans to throw water on her to cool her down.

She was in the middle of lip-syncing her signature hit song “Bodak Yellow” when an audience member hurled a cup of beer at her.

A shocked Cardi retaliated by flinging her microphone at the woman and striking her with it.

The rapper’s bodyguards jumped into the audience and escorted the woman out of the venue.

In another incident at Drai’s Beach Club on Friday, Cardi B allegedly threw her mic at a DJ for cutting off her songs too early.

Twitter users blamed Cardi B for being a trash rapper in concert. There was a time when allegations of lip-syncing would end a rapper’s career.
