LeBron James stepped out for dinner with his family days after his son Bronny (left) suffered a cardiac arrest.
LeBron and Bronny were joined by LeBron’s wife Savannah, daughter Zhuri Nova, and son Bryce at celebrity hotspot Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi on Friday evening.
The family dinner was their first public outing since 18-year-old Bronny’s heart stopped during a workout at USC on Monday, July 24. Bronny looked well after his harrowing ordeal.
NBA fans expressed their disappointment in LeBron for turning his attention away from Bronny to 16-year-old Bryce so quickly. A lot of moms were upset by that.
LeBron has said he hoped to play in the NBA with Bronny before he retires. But sources say Savannah put her foot down. She doesn’t want Bronny touching a basketball anytime soon.
So LeBron shifted his focus to his younger son, Bryce (pictured), while Bronny is moved to the background. The L.A. Lakers superstar shared an Instagram photo slide on Friday that showed him coaching his child prodigy in a gym. LeBron captioned the gallery:
“It’s my job to always remain strong & to show them the blueprint regardless of the outcome! #JamesGang #BryceMaximus #MyTwin.”
Bronny is reportedly fine with his father turning his attention to Bryce. Friends say Bronny’s true calling is to be a top gamer.
Friends say Bronny’s health scare may have been a blessing in disguise. Now that he has more time on his hands he can devote himself to gaming.
