Update, Aug. 26, 2023 at 1:10 PM:

Nicki Minaj’s fans attacked all Twitter/X accounts with the name “Stephanie Bell” after Nicki name-dropped her in a tweet on Friday.

Nicki named Stephanie Bell as the individual responsible for making false swatting calls to her home.

“Swatting” is when someone makes a call to 911 to send authorities to a person’s home under false pretenses.

In June, the suspect falsely reported that Nicki’s 2-year-old son was being abused in the home. The woman also reported a house fire, which prompted the police and firefighters to swarm her and her husband Kenneth Petty’s home.

Then, in July, the police responded to another swatting call claiming that shots were fired inside the home, according to TMZ.

In her tweet, Nicki identified the swatter as “Stephanie Bell.”

Nicki posted on Twitter/X:

“Stephanie Bell

A warrant is in the system. Great detective work. So grateful. The DA filed one count for the swatting call and one for the false report to DCFS. To God be the glory.”

Moments before tweeting out the suspect’s name, Nicki posed the question: “To the woman who made those swatting calls to my home…#WasItWorthItDumbo?”

The problem is Stephanie Bell is a common name on social media.

Nicki’s fans weren’t sure if they had the right Stephanie Bell. So they attacked all accounts with that name, according to TMZ.

One person named Stephanie Bell wrote, “I’ve never been so angry at another Stephanie Bell. You’re f***ing it up for all of us..”

Another Stephanie Bell said, “Why y’all still in my inbox.”

According to TMZ, none of the people currently getting dragged is the real Stephanie Bell.

An LAPD source told TMZ the suspect is facing 2 charges of deliberately reporting a false emergency. Both charges are misdemeanors.

Nicki purchased the 8-bed, 11-bath property in December 2022 for $19.5 million.
