Several people were arrested after a wild brawl broke out on a Riverfront Park boardwalk in Montgomery, Alabama on Saturday.

The brawl started when a pontoon boat was blocking the dock where a riverboat was trying to park, according to reports.

The pontoon boat owner was asked to move to allow the riverboat full of passengers to dock. But he allegedly refused.

Passengers recorded the wild scene that followed as the pontoon boat owner punched a dock worker who tried to push the boat out of the way.

A riverboat worker dived into the water and swam to the boardwalk to assist the dock worker.

After the riverboat docked, two shirtless passengers got off and began punching the pontoon boat owner.

A man was seen repeatedly hitting the boat owner and a woman with a folding chair. He was taken into police custody.

The boat owner and another person were also arrested.

An announcer onboard the riverboat said: “Please check the guys in the water. Two guys are in the water behind the dock. Make sure nobody drowns.”

He then added: “FYI, in the future don’t f–k with the riverboat crew.”

Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed said justice will be served and more charges are expected.

“As our police department investigates these intolerable actions, we should not become desensitized to violence of any kind in our community,” Reed said on Saturday. “Those who choose violence will be held accountable by our criminal justice system.”

No additional charges were filed on Sunday. It isn’t clear if those detained are still in custody.

Several videos of the brawl have gone viral on social media.
