Melba Moore praised comedian Katt Williams for sponsoring her $75,000 star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Anyone from A- to D-list celebrities, athletes and other notables can buy their very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame — as long as they pay the $75,000 fee.

However, the 77-year-old Tony Award-winning actress and singer couldn’t pony up that much cash for her star, so her friend, Katt, offered to foot the bill.

According to blogger Love B. Scott, Melba became the 2,760th person to receive a star. She thanked the generous comedian in an Instagram post.

“@kattwilliams A public thank you to KW. He is the sole sponsor of my Star ………I am still in shock. Katt, in me you have a Friend. Love Melba Forever Moore.”
