Young Thug’s dad is protesting the fact that his son is still locked up while former President Trump was given bond on RICO charges.

Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, was indicted last May on RICO conspiracy and gang charges in Atlanta. He was ordered held without bond and was moved to a Cobb County jail to separate him from other gang members.

Young Thug is accused of being a founding member of the Young Slime Life street gang which is affiliated with the notorious Bloods gang.

Blogger DJ Akademiks shared a photo of Young Thug’s dad, Jeffery Lamar Williams Sr., holding a sign that reads:

“Free YSL. Trump & Crew got a bond Young Thug & YSL face the exact same charges but no bond? Make justice fair!! We deserve a fair fight too Fani.”

Mr. Williams was referring to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (pictured) who indicted both Young Thug and Trump on RICO charges.

Trump was indicted in Atlanta on 13 RICO charges of allegedly interfering in the 2020 election. He turned himself in on Friday, Aug. 25, and was released on $200,000 bond with conditions.

Willis asked a judge to set an October 2023 date for Trump and his 18 co-defendants after one of the defendants asked for a speedy trial.

A judge in Washington, D.C. has set a March 4, 2024 trial date for Trump’s classified documents case, according to Fox News.
