Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend will not be prosecuted, despite her arrest on misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief charges.

Grace Jabbari was arrested in Manhattan on Wednesday, Oct. 25, according to TMZ.

Jabbari, of London, England, was booked at Manhattan’s 10th Precinct, just hours after a judge denied Majors’ motion to dismiss his assault charges against her.

Jabbari was booked on assault charges, even though the Manhattan D.A.’s office filed court papers on Tuesday, saying it informed the NYPD last month that they had no intention of prosecuting Jabbari for “the belated allegations made by defendant [Majors] regarding the incident on March 25, 2023.”

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office issued a statement on Thursday, saying Jabbari will not be prosecuted, and the case against her is closed.

“The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has officially declined to prosecute the case against Grace Jabbari because it lacks prosecutorial merit,” a spokesperson for Bragg stated Thursday morning. “The matter is now closed and sealed.”

Majors’ principal lawyer Priya Chaudhry filed a countersuit against Jabbari in June – which led to the NYPD issuing an investigatory card, or I-Card for Jabbari, according to Deadline.com.

Majors was arrested on March 25 in Manhattan and charged with misdemeanor assault and aggravated harassment following an alleged domestic dispute with Jabbari.

On Wednesday, New York Supreme Court Judge Michael Gaffey denied his motion to dismiss and set the actor’s trial date for November 29, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
